At the end of the configuration a assessment will start for the selected tenants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Assessment results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We will see here that the focus for the migration is based on the Business Groups we have in the source environment. Let\u2019s start digging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.10.3:8585\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/6-1024x383.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-141\" width=\"1024\" height=\"383\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/6-1024x383.png 1024w, https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/6-300x112.png 300w, https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/6-768x287.png 768w, https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/6.png 1034w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The warnings that appear are related to Blueprints I have in my source environment\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.10.3:8585\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/7.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-142\" width=\"829\" height=\"257\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/7.png 829w, https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/7-300x93.png 300w, https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/7-768x238.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 829px) 100vw, 829px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If we go deeper, we can see that I have two Blueprints:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>WinNewBP<\/li><li>NewBP<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the Blueprints is the one having the warnings<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>WinNewBP<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>So, lets analyze the results<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.10.3:8585\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/8-1024x253.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-143\" width=\"1024\" height=\"253\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/8-1024x253.png 1024w, https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/8-300x74.png 300w, https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/8-768x190.png 768w, https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/8.png 1166w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We can see here that the warning I\u2019m having is because a custom property I have in my BP (VirtualMachine.Admin.ThinProvision), this warning is because in vRA 8 this custom property doesn\u2019t work to force the thin provision property when cloning VMs. Instead of using this property I will need to use provisioningType property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As all is OK we can proceed with the migration. To continue we will select the Business Group to migrate and click Migrate<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Migration Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.10.3:8585\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-144\" width=\"869\" height=\"235\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/9.png 869w, https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/9-300x81.png 300w, https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/9-768x208.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 869px) 100vw, 869px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After choosing to reassess the business group previous to the migration, the migration process will start<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.10.3:8585\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/10.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-145\" width=\"491\" height=\"321\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/10.png 491w, https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/10-300x196.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 491px) 100vw, 491px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.10.3:8585\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/11.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-146\" width=\"491\" height=\"220\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/11.png 491w, https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/11-300x134.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 491px) 100vw, 491px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Migration results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After some minutes, the migration will finish and we can now see each migrated object.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"867\" height=\"227\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.10.3:8585\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/12.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-147\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/12.png 867w, https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/12-300x79.png 300w, https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/12-768x201.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 867px) 100vw, 867px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The following vRA objects were migrated<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Blueprints<\/li><li>Business Groups<\/li><li>Endpoints<\/li><li>Reservations<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.10.3:8585\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/13.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-148\" width=\"438\" height=\"163\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/13.png 438w, https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/13-300x112.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 438px) 100vw, 438px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Blueprints<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding Blueprints, we can see that my two Blueprints were migrated with their properties including the Lease Policy config. One note here, we can see here the name changed in the product<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Blueprint (vRA 7) &nbsp;&gt;&gt; Cloud Template (vRA 8)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.10.3:8585\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/14.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-149\" width=\"386\" height=\"166\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/14.png 386w, https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/14-300x129.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 386px) 100vw, 386px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Business Groups<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding Business Groups, the following object are created in vRA 8<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Project. This is where the Business Group Configuration are migrated.<\/li><li>Content Entitlement Blueprint. Here we can see our migrated Blueprints, with their properties like Deployment limits.<\/li><li>Content Source Blueprint. This step is necessary for all Blueprints and is the one that allows us to share the Blueprint to be used by the Project.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.10.3:8585\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/15.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-150\" width=\"339\" height=\"109\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/15.png 339w, https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/15-300x96.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 339px) 100vw, 339px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Endpoints<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In this point we can see that a vSphere endpoint is created in vRA 8. We can see another name changed here<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Endpoint (vRA 7 ) &gt;&gt; Cloud Account (vRA 8 )<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.10.3:8585\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/16.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-151\" width=\"325\" height=\"86\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/16.png 325w, https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/16-300x79.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 325px) 100vw, 325px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reservations<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding reservation, all components that belongs to the reservations are migrated. The following object are created as part of the migration process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cloud Zone<\/li><li>IP Range<\/li><li>Network Profile<\/li><li>Storage Profile<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"339\" height=\"134\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.10.3:8585\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/17.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-152\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/17.png 339w, https:\/\/thecloudarchitects.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/17-300x119.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 339px) 100vw, 339px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>But where are my deployments??
